Sung Sot Cave

Located in the center of Ha Long Bay, Sung Sot Cave (Amazing or Surprising Cave) is surrounded by several attractions such as Ti Top Beach, Bo Nau Cave, Luon cave… It also called “Grotte des surprises” by French. The cave is one of the most popular attractions in Ha Long due to its spectacular structure with many stone islands with special shapes. Sung Sot Cave can be accessed by passing through the forest canopy, thank to the beautiful lights, the visitors will be fascinated by spectacular formations of stalactites.

The Cave is divided into two main chambers, the first chamber is a large cave. The ceiling of the cave is covered with a layer of stalactites and countless “stalactite chandelier” hanging on with sparkling light as well as stalactites with many shapes of elephants, seals, raspberries, flowers… The second chamber can be accessed by a narrow passage where you can see the natural light filtering in from above. The opening space is an important part of Sung Sot Cave that makes the cave become lively. At one time, the cave can welcome thousands of people to visit.
