Many travelers enjoy discovering the surrounding countryside through thoughtfully designed Melbourne shore excursions with Shore Excursions Asia.
Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park
Your first stop is the Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park, a wildlife reserve dedicated to protecting Australia’s unique native animals. Set within natural bushland, the sanctuary is home to more than 60 Australian species.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to feed friendly kangaroos and wallabies, observe koalas resting in eucalyptus trees, and learn about conservation programs designed to protect endangered wildlife. The sanctuary’s wetlands also provide habitat for a variety of birds and native animals.
Guests may choose to book an optional Koala Encounter for an even closer experience.
Mornington Peninsula Wine Region
Continue deeper into the scenic Mornington Peninsula, one of Victoria’s most celebrated food and wine destinations. The region’s cool coastal climate produces exceptional wines, particularly Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris.
Enjoy a relaxing two-course lunch with a glass of wine at a local winery while taking in the picturesque vineyard surroundings.
Arthurs Seat Lookout
After lunch, stop at Arthurs Seat Lookout, one of the peninsula’s most famous viewpoints. From this elevated vantage point, admire sweeping views across the coastline and Port Phillip Bay.
Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes
On the return journey toward Melbourne, stop at Brighton Beach to see the iconic Dendy Street Bathing Boxes. These colorful wooden beach huts have become one of the city’s most photographed landmarks and a beloved symbol of Melbourne’s seaside lifestyle.
