FULL ITINERARY
Discover the wild heart of North Sulawesi on this immersive shore excursion to Tangkoko National Park, one of Indonesia’s most fascinating conservation areas. Your trip begins with pickup at Bitung Cruise Port, followed by a scenic drive through lush hills, coconut groves, and valleys shaped by volcanic history.
Arrive at Tangkoko Nature Reserve and begin a guided trek into the tropical forest. Led by a knowledgeable ranger, you'll search for the region’s most iconic wildlife including the Tarsius tarsier (one of the world’s smallest primates), the black-crested macaque, colorful kingfishers, hornbills, and the elusive cuscus.
After your wildlife experience, continue to a nearby black sand beach, a dramatic coastal stretch formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. If you’re lucky, you may even spot macaques gathering near the shore.
Before returning to port, visit the Waruga Archeological Park, a sacred Minahasan site from the megalithic era, home to ancient stone sarcophagi and deep cultural significance. Thank you for exploring with Shore Excursions Asia!
