Ship Arrival at Shimizu Port

Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at Shimizu Port, meet your English-speaking guide holding a welcome board at the designated pick-up point. Board your private air-conditioned car or coach and begin this Shimizu shore excursion with a scenic drive towards Hakone.

Transfer to Togendai

Relax during the journey from Shimizu Port to Togendai, located beside Lake Ashi in the Hakone area. Along the way, enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and mountain landscapes before arriving at the ropeway station.

Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani

Board the Hakone Ropeway at Togendai for a scenic ride towards Owakudani. Enjoy elevated views across the mountainous landscape, with the possibility of seeing Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

Owakudani Valley

Arrive at Owakudani Valley, one of the most distinctive volcanic landscapes in Hakone. Stroll around the designated sightseeing area and observe the steaming terrain, sulphur vents and dramatic mountain scenery.

If weather conditions are favourable, enjoy views of Mt. Fuji in the distance. You may also try the famous local black eggs, cooked using the natural geothermal waters of Owakudani.

Return to Shimizu Port
