Day 1: Laem Chabang – Bangkok canal tour – Wat Arun – Tuk Tuk ride – Chinatown – Yaowarat – Talad Kao – Hotel
Pick up from Laem Chabang port and head to Bangkok. Check in at the pier and board a long-tail or motor boat to explore the canals on the Thonburi side, where traditional Thai houses and riverside communities preserve a peaceful, slower-paced lifestyle. Along the way, visit the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), one of Bangkok’s most iconic riverside temples.
After the canal tour, cross the river (by taxi boat or car, depending on the situation) to the city side and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, hop on a classic Tuk Tuk for an authentic Bangkok experience. Ride through Old Bangkok and arrive in vibrant Chinatown, one of the city’s oldest districts. Stroll along Yaowarat Road, lined with gold shops, street food vendors, and Chinese herbal pharmacies. Explore Talad Kao Market, where fresh and dried fruits, traditional snacks, and spices are sold in a bustling, colorful atmosphere.
Day 2: Hotel – Wat Pho – Grand Palace – Emerald Buddha – Laem Chabang port
After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day with a visit to Wat Pho, home to the famous 45-meter reclining Buddha and known as the original school of traditional Thai massage.
Continue to the Royal Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important historical landmark. Discover the coronation and reception halls, the funeral hall, and the revered Emerald Buddha, considered the most sacred image in the country. Please note that appropriate dress is required; otherwise, you may need to purchase covering garments on-site.
