Ship Arrival at Port Klang
Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at Port Klang, meet your English-speaking guide holding a welcome board at the designated pick-up point. Board your private air-conditioned car or coach and begin this Kuala Lumpur shore excursions experience, discovering a mix of modern landmarks, traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
Petronas Twin Towers Photo Stop
Begin your exploration in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with a photo stop at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Admire the distinctive twin skyscrapers from outside and enjoy time to capture photographs of one of Malaysia’s most recognisable modern landmarks.
Royal Selangor Pewter
Continue to Royal Selangor, renowned for its long tradition of fine pewter craftsmanship. During your visit, learn how skilled artisans transform pewter into beautifully finished pieces using techniques such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving.
Observe selected stages of the production process and browse the showroom, where a wide range of handcrafted pewter products is displayed. Any purchases are at your own expense.
Batu Caves
Visit Batu Caves, one of Malaysia’s most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. At the base of the limestone hill, admire the impressive golden statue of Lord Murugan before beginning the climb towards the main temple cave.
Guests who wish to enter the sacred cave can climb the famous 272 colourful steps leading to the temple complex inside the limestone formation. At the top, explore the cavernous surroundings and Hindu shrines before carefully descending to rejoin your guide.
Modest clothing is required when visiting the religious site. Guests should also keep food and personal belongings secure, as monkeys may be present around the steps.
Chinatown
Continue to Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, a lively district filled with traditional shops, market stalls and local street life. Enjoy time to stroll through the area, browse souvenirs and experience the multicultural atmosphere of the Malaysian capital.
Depending on the time available, your guide can introduce local products and popular snacks along the way. Food, drinks and personal purchases are at your own expense.
