Morning
Our tour guide and driver will greet you at the cruise port as you board your private coach for an exciting Phu My shore excursion exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Start your day at the Thich Quang Duc Monument, commemorating the Buddhist monk who self-immolated in protest of anti-Buddhist policies in 1963. Learn about the historical significance of this event and the monument's symbolism.

The museum also showcases local artisans crafting handmade jewelry and other unique items available for purchase. Visit this French colonial architectural gem. Discover the history of Vietnam’s famous letter writer, Mr. Duong Van Ngo, and take in the nostalgic atmosphere with old-school phone booths and beautiful oil paintings. This iconic structure in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City reflects the city's rich religious and cultural heritage.

Our small group loved this heritage walk. The guide highlighted details in the colonial buildings that we would have missed on our own. The variety of stops kept the day engaging, from historic sites to colorful markets. For anyone interested in culture and history, this tour is ideal.
Margaret Turner –
This excursion captured both the charm and complexity of Saigon. Seeing the mix of European-style architecture alongside vibrant temples gave us insight into the city’s unique identity.
Edward Clark –
We especially enjoyed the mix of sacred sites and historic architecture. The entire tour felt well balanced and meaningful.
Linda Foster –
The War Remnants Museum was a very moving experience, but the rest of the tour provided lighter moments, such as admiring the French architecture and strolling by the Saigon Opera House.
Karen Phillips –
This tour gave us a wonderful introduction to the heart of Saigon. The French colonial buildings like the Post Office and Opera House were beautifully preserved, and walking through Ben Thanh Market added a lively local touch. It was a full day, but the pace was never tiring.
