This national park contains the largest wetland and marsh so as to well preserve the endangered Japanese Cranes. The park also offers bird watching, nature viewing and walking trails furthermore attracts photographers from all over places.
After a pleasant walkway, we reach Observation Deck in the Kushiro Marshland where the first floor is opened to the public free of charge with several shops, restaurants for you to take a break and on the 2nd floor is an exhibit that contains various types of flora and fauna from the wetlands. The top floor observatory that provides us a panoramic vista of the wetland.
Before leaving, come to visit Washo Fish Market at which you can find fresh seafood with reasonable price and friendly service. It would be amiss if you don’t grab a bite of sashimi in the dining area.
