National Museum of Cambodia

National Museum of Cambodia is located in the heart of capital Phnom Penh. The museum was built in 1917 and completed in 1920. The style of museum is very unique blending of Khmer’s architecture and French architecture, because constructed at the French colonial period and designed in traditional architecture of Khmer by George Groslier and Ecole des Arts Cambodgiens.

National Museum is a museum of archeology and cultural history of Cambodia. Museum is keeping and preserving over 5000 artifacts, the largest collections and items of archaeology, religion and art of Khmer from the 4th century to the 13th century are on display for visitors.
