You will be welcomed by your private guide and transferred on a convenient car to our first sight: Peace Memorial Park & Museum. In order to commemorate those who died in the atomic bomb, all the extensive information and personal details about the attack are displayed in the Peace Memorial Museum - main site of the park.
Other highlights include the Atomic Bomb Dome, the iconic ruin left standing near the hypocenter of the blast and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also visit the Hypocenter, the exact point above which the atomic bomb exploded, offering a deeply moving reminder of history.
Continue to the Children’s Peace Monument and the Cenotaph, where you can reflect on the memory of the victims and the hope for lasting peace. Every year on August 6th, the city holds a ceremony here, and visitors can write messages on lanterns and release them into the water.
Finally, enjoy a peaceful stroll through Shukkeien Garden, a beautifully landscaped Japanese garden known for its miniature landscapes, tea houses, and serene atmosphere - a perfect way to end your meaningful day in Hiroshima.
