Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at Kaohsiung Harbor, meet your English-speaking guide and driver at the designated pick-up point. Board your private vehicle and begin this Kaohsiung shore excursions experience through the city’s cultural, religious and modern attractions.

Lotus Pond & Spring and Autumn Pavilions

Begin your sightseeing at Lotus Pond, a scenic area surrounded by colourful temples, pagodas and traditional pavilions. Visit the Spring and Autumn Pavilions, distinguished by their ornate architecture and prominent dragon sculptures beside the water.

Enjoy time to walk along the lakeside, admire the surrounding religious landmarks and take photographs of one of Kaohsiung’s most recognisable cultural landscapes.

Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum

Continue to the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, an expansive Buddhist complex known for its grand architecture, peaceful surroundings and impressive Buddha statue. Walk through the central avenue while learning about Buddhist culture, philosophy and the development of the Fo Guang Shan organisation.

Explore selected halls and outdoor areas with your guide, subject to the museum’s opening schedule and the time available during your port visit.

Pass by Love River, a prominent waterway flowing through central Kaohsiung. Enjoy views of the landscaped riverbanks, bridges and surrounding cityscape from the comfort of your vehicle.

Visit Dream Mall, one of Kaohsiung’s major shopping and entertainment centres. Enjoy free time to browse its wide selection of stores, local and international brands, restaurants and leisure facilities.

You may shop for souvenirs, enjoy refreshments or explore the mall independently before meeting your guide at the designated time. Personal purchases and refreshments are at your own expense.

Pier-2 Art Center

Continue to the Pier-2 Art Center for an outdoor visit to this revitalised harbourfront creative district. Walk among colourful public artworks, sculptures, murals and former warehouse buildings that reflect Kaohsiung’s transformation from an industrial port into a centre for contemporary art and culture.

Return to Kaohsiung Harbor
