FULL ITINERARY
English-Speaking-Guide waits with welcome-board and proceeds to your Shimizu shore excursions by chartered car. Begin your visit with the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre, an architectural masterpiece dedicated to Japan’s most iconic peak. The center’s striking inverted-cone design mirrors the reflection of Mount Fuji on the water surface. Inside, interactive exhibits and panoramic viewing decks provide deep insights into the mountain’s cultural significance, geological features, and spiritual symbolism in Japanese art and tradition. From the top floor, you can admire a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji itself, weather permitting.
Continue the drive for about 100 minutes to reach Gora. Start your Lake Ashi cruise from Hakone-cho Port aboard a viking boat, offering beautiful views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding landscape.
From Togendai Station, take the ropeway to Owaku-dani Valley, a volcanic valley with active sulfur vents and hot springs, famous with its scenic views, volcanic activity, and especially, Kuro Tamago, the special eggs with the black shells and smell slightly sulfuric, eating one is consider to bonus seven years to your life. Come closer to the valley, you can notice the typical smell of sulfur, and a variety of hot air evaporates like an industrial factory that creates a mesmerizing picture revealed the power of nature.
