Exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels
Located about 70 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels were the Viet Cong’s operational base during the Tet Offensive in 1968. On the way, admire views of rubber plantations and rice paddies. Upon arrival, watch a short introductory video explaining the tunnel construction before exploring the intricate underground network.
See cleverly designed mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and large bomb craters left by B52 bombers. Walking through this historic site offers a deeper perspective on Vietnam’s resilience and military ingenuity.
Lunch at a Local Restaurant
Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a well-regarded local restaurant, savoring traditional flavors before continuing to explore Ho Chi Minh City.
Reunification Palace
Visit the Reunification Palace, a landmark of modern Vietnamese history and the site marking the end of the Vietnam War in April 1975.
Notre Dame Cathedral & Saigon Old Post Office
Continue to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Saigon Old Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel and built between 1877 and 1883. These architectural gems showcase the elegance of French colonial design and remain iconic symbols of the city.
Return to Port
