Cyclo Ride & Old Quarter Stroll
After a delicious lunch in the city center, hop on a cyclo for a leisurely one-hour ride through the French-inspired boulevards and bustling streets of the Old Quarter. This unique perspective lets you absorb the rhythm of daily life as you pass street vendors, small shops, and colonial-era buildings. Then, enjoy a walking exploration to browse for souvenirs, handicrafts, and perhaps a special piece of art to take home.
Bat Trang Ceramic Village - Crafting Your Own Keepsake
Travel about 15 km east of Hanoi to the Bat Trang Ceramic Village, a centuries-old community known for its exquisite pottery. Visit the village’s Communal House, step into the ancient home and workshop of ceramic artist Tran Van Do to see skilled artisans at work, and admire the charm of a French-built structure dating back to 1920. Here, you’ll have the chance to try your hand at shaping clay on the potter’s wheel and create your own ceramic piece as a personal memento.
