FULL ITINERARY
Picked up by guide and driver and start your trip with a visit to Amanohashidate View Land. To approach the observatory, take a chair lift for 6 minutes and especially wheelchairs are allowed to reach the top by the monorail for 8 minutes. The observatory stands on the top of Mt. Monju providing a panoramic view over Amanohashidate – one of three most stunning scenery in Japan looked like a “flying dragon”.
Afterward, visit Kaisenkyo Rotating Bridge. This interesting bridge can turn 90 degrees to create a large space for ships passing through the waterway. From the past, the original bridge was built as hand-operating, but now, it is made electric that the number of ships increases dramatically.
The next attraction is Monjudo Chionji Temple which is told that bring wisdom to visitors leading to many students and their families coming here to pray before taking an important exam. The temple is home to hundreds of oil paintings about many topics such as Heaven and Hell, vassals revenge on a feudal lord, and Chinese history.
Then, head to Motoise Kono Shrine. Right in front of the main shrine, there are five colored Shinto motif that only two shrines in the country have the permission to use. Besides, on the shrine’s ground, there are some smaller shrines dedicated to many deities and designed with different architectural styles.
Continue on by hopping on a cruise on Ine Bay have been here for many generations of fisherman and local people. Witness sea people dry their laundry at the same place with octopus and other seafood, but of course, not the same time. Trip ends when driver transfers you back to port.
