Day 1: Colombo Pick-up – Transfer to Galle – Overnight in Mirissa (L, D)
The tour starts with a shore meet and greet with our driver and guide upon your arrival at the Colombo Port. We will then proceed to Galle.
13:00 Stop to enjoy a nice local lunch in Galle Fort.
14:00 Visit the Handugoda Tea Factory.
After the tour, we will proceed to transfer to our hotel for overnight accommodation and relaxation. En route, we will make a stop to pay a quick visit to see the famous stilt fishermen. After checking in, enjoy dinner at the hotel and have the rest of the day free at your own leisure. Overnight in Mirrisa.
Day 2: Whale & Dolphin Watching – River Cruise along Madu River & Turtle Hatchery (B, L)
06:30 Wake up early this morning and venture out for a Whale & Dolphin watching session with a picnic breakfast.
11:00 Return to the hotel to refresh and pack.
12:00 Check-out of your hotel room and have lunch at the hotel.
12:30 We get in our private vehicle and proceed to leave for Balapitiya.
14:00 Join a River Cruise trip along the Madu River.
15:30 We will visit one of the must-visit destinations in Bentota, the Sea Turtle Hatchery, a turtle conservation center located along the coast of the Indian Ocean at Kosgoda.
16:00 We return to our vehicle for a transfer back to Colombo Port. The trip ends with our driver escorting you safely back to the port in good time for your ship’s departure. Thanks for choosing Shore Excursions Asia!
