National Palace Museum
(Closed every Monday)
Your first stop is the renowned National Palace Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of Chinese imperial artifacts. The museum houses over 700,000 pieces, including jade carvings, calligraphy, paintings, and rare historical treasures spanning thousands of years of Chinese civilization. Your guide will highlight the most significant exhibits, helping you appreciate the cultural and artistic value behind these priceless collections.
Bao-An Temple
Continue to Bao-An Temple, a beautifully preserved Taoist temple dedicated to traditional Chinese deities. Admire the intricate stone carvings, colorful murals, and delicate woodwork that showcase classical Taiwanese craftsmanship. This visit offers a peaceful contrast to the bustling city and a glimpse into local spiritual life and traditional beliefs.
Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
Next, visit the iconic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, one of Taipei’s most important historical landmarks. Set within a grand plaza, the memorial honors Chiang Kai-shek, a key figure in modern Chinese history.
Stroll through the vast grounds, admire the impressive architecture, and learn about Taiwan’s political and historical development through your guide’s commentary.

The tour then brings you to Taipei 101, once the tallest building in the world and still a symbol of modern Taiwan. Enjoy free time to explore the upscale shopping mall, browse international and local brands, or relax with lunch at one of the many restaurants and cafés inside the complex. Lunch is on your own arrangement, allowing flexibility to suit your personal taste and pace.
Return to Keelung Harbor
