We understand how important it is to return to the ship with time to spare. That’s why all of our tours are carefully timed based on the official port schedule of the Diamond Princess. You’ll always be brought back well before departure, typically with at least an hour to relax before reboarding, so there’s no need to worry about rushing.

Our guides are attentive to the group’s comfort and adjust the flow of the day as needed, allowing you to experience Japan at a pace that feels just right.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including a map, contact number, and a photo of the exact meeting point. Our guide will be there early, holding a clear sign with your name or group name, so finding us will be simple and easy.

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your Diamond Princess shore excursions; however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Shore Excursions Asia (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

• More than 40 days prior to trip departure: 10% of the deposit paid is non-refundable. This will be saved for your next trip with us. The rest of the deposit paid will be refunded (bank fee levied by your end)
• 40 - 30 days prior to trip departure: 35% charged of the deposit paid
• 29 -15 days: 50% charged of the deposit paid
• 14 - 10 day: 75% charged of total amount
• Less than 10 days or No show: 100% charged of total amount

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

You don’t need to worry. Our team tracks the real-time docking updates of the Diamond Princess and adjusts the tour departure time if necessary. Each itinerary includes extra time as a buffer, so even if the ship arrives a bit later than expected, your tour will still run smoothly and you’ll be back on board well before departure.

In the rare event that the Diamond Princess cannot dock or passengers cannot disembark due to weather or other force majeure reasons, we will refund any entrance fees and lunch costs if included. For guide and vehicle arrangements already prepared at the port, we will do our best to work with our service providers to reduce any cancellation fees. Should this situation occur, we will inform you with full details and process the appropriate refund as promptly as possible.
